17 kilometres south of Dominical, you find Uvita one of Costa Rica’s many stunning beaches. Take long walks down the coastline enjoying the beautiful landscapes while sunbathing in the warm Caribbean sun. The peace and quiet of this not so crowded beach allows you to enjoy the holiday in the comfort of serenity. While you are visiting this quaint beachside town, take a quick tour of the nearby Caño Island, Violines Island or Ballena Island, and hike to the forests in the mountains. Visit the Uvita Waterfall is a local gem, just five minutes from the centre of the town.
