This little gem of beach village is the perfect vacation spot for both honeymooners, families, and friends. The sunsets here are stunning and the sun goes down in the Pacific Ocean straight outside Flamingo beach every night. It’s only three hotels in town but only one located beachfront and that’s the stunning Margaritaville Beach Resort. The small village of Flamingo is just next to the beach. You find everything you need like restaurants, supermarkets, and some stores here, everything within walking distance from the hotels.
It’s easy to do a day trip around Flamingo. On only a 30-minute drive you reach Playa Grande, which is one of the best surf beaches in the world. You also have Tamarindo Beach, which is the biggest beach town in Costa Rica. Here you can find everything from shopping, bars, clubs, and the long beach perfect for beginners.

One of the most popular excursions to do here is to go on a catamaran sunset cruise where you get to sail out to a lagoon where you can go on a guided snorkel trip in the warm water of the Pacific Ocean.
