Day 1
Welcome to Costa Rica!
Welcome to Costa Rica! Your private transportation will be picking you up at Liberia or San Jose airport and driving you through the beautiful nature and mountains of Costa Rica to the majestic volcano Arenal and the spa hotel Tabacon. After your check-in, you will have the rest of the day to enjoy the very relaxing natural hot springs of the hotel. If you are still energized you can visit the town of Fortuna for dinner or have dinner at the hotel.
Day 2
Holistic wellness treatment for your relaxation
As you wake up in paradise you get to enjoy the delicious breakfast at the hotel before your day gets started. Today we here at Tulu Travel have included a holistic wellness treatment for your relaxation. You will definitely feel relaxed after this treatment, and the hot springs are awaiting you again!
Day 3
Hot-springs or other Activities of your choice
This day is free of scheduled activities so you can decide for yourself what to do. There is, of course, always the hot springs, but we can also help you book more tours in the Arenal area. You can go whitewater rafting, walk on hanging bridges in the rainforest, and hike around the impressive volcano, among many other interesting adventures. Let us know and we will arrange it for you!
Day 4
Transportation to Los Altos Eros
Today your private transportation will take you through the beautiful rainforest areas around Arenal through the savannas of the region Guanacaste to the cozy boutique hotel Los Altos de Eros outside Tamarindo. After your check-in, you can choose from one of the hotel’s many different spa treatments and relax. If you still are in the mood for adventure you can visit the beach town of Tamarindo for a nice beachfront dinner.
Day 5
Estuary tour with a river boat
Costa Rica is world-famous for its immense diversity in nature and wildlife, and today you will discover it through the included estuary tour. This exciting tour will take you on a riverboat on the river through the estuary. You will have the chance to see many different species of birds, monkeys, iguanas, and of course, the king of the river, the crocodile! After this adventure your hotel awaits you with treatments and delicious meals.
Day 6
Sunset catamaran tour
The wildlife of Costa Rica is not only on land; you will find many amazing species of marine life in the Pacific Ocean. Today we have included a sunset catamaran tour, which will take you sailing on the Pacific. We hope to see mantas, dolphins, turtles, and if we are really lucky, humpback whales. The tour includes a light lunch, snorkeling, kayaking, and an open bar. You will sail back in the amazing sunset of the Pacific Ocean.
Day 7
Transportation to Nosara
After your breakfast your private transportation awaits you to take you to mythical Nosara. This place is famous for its great surfing, yoga, and spirituality. You will check in at Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort where the friendly staff will take great care of you. The afternoon will be open for discovering Nosara or relaxing in the yoga resort.
Day 8
Private yoga class
When in Nosara yoga is a must, and today we have included a private yoga class for you and your travel companion. The class will be focusing on your personal goals for your yoga practice, diving deeper into specific techniques, overcoming health concerns, developing a plan for your at-home practice. If you are satisfied with your class you can add more classes during your stay.
Day 9
Waterfall Hike
Today you will experience one of Nosara’s hidden gems; this tucked-away waterfall destination is a refreshing treat following a 45-minute moderate hike. The hike involves crossing a creek, traversing a cattle farm, and weaving through a primary canopy of tropical dry forest. Stop along the way to interpret the sights, sounds, and smells of everything around you before discovering a series of brilliant swimming holes and small waterfalls, each cascading from one to another.
Day 10
San Jose & Stay over
Unfortunately every journey comes to an end, and today you will be heading back to Liberia or San Jose airport for your return flight home. Your private transportation will take you through the beautiful nature of Costa Rica and safely bring you to the airport well in time for your departure. We hope to see you again soon in Costa Rica.
