Overview

Costa Rica is world-famous for its amazing nature and wildlife, and when you choose this great luxury package you will get to explore some of the most beautiful and diverse destinations in Manuel Antonio and Corcovado. Your journey will start in Costa Rica’s capital San Jose where our private transportation will pick you up and drive you to the cozy little beach town of Manuel Antonio and the luxurious hotel Makanda By the Sea. Manuel Antonio is famous for its many beautiful beaches and its national park, which is located right by the public beach in town. During your stay in Manuel Antonio we here at Tulu Travel have included three tours. Your first adventure will be a whitewater rafting tour where you will get to combine beautiful nature with adrenaline on the river. After this exciting experience you will get the chance to learn how to surf the following day. Your professional instructor will teach you the basics and do everything in their way to help you stand up on your board on the magical Pacific Ocean. Your third and final adventure in Manuel Antonio will be canyoning and waterfall rappelling where your guide will take you on an exciting tour where you will  down some amazing waterfalls.

After your adventurous days in Manuel Antonio, the journey continues to amazing Corcovado. Your private transportation will take you to Sierpe where a boat awaits you to go to your great lodge, the Drake Bay Wilderness Resort. You will spend five memorable days here filled with three great tours. On your first day you will go zip-lining through the lush forests of Corcovado, a great mixture of nature and adrenaline! The next day your professional guide will take you to Caño Island for a great snorkeling tour and hiking. Your final included adventure during this stay will be in the mangroves as you will embark on an exciting adventure with the opportunity to see many of the beautiful animal species of Corcovado. After breakfast on your last day the lodge will take you to the domestic airport where the flight will take you back to San Jose and your return flight.

Day 1

Welcome to Costa Rica! Transfer & Crocodiles

Welcome to amazing and inviting Costa Rica! Your private transportation will pick you up in Costa Rica’s capital San Jose and take you to beautiful Manuel Antonio. On your way there you will drive down the lush mountains and pass the river Tarcoles where you can make a shorter stop to take photos of the crocodiles that live under the bridge. After your check-in at the great hotel Makanda By the Sea you have the rest of the evening to dine and relax.
Day 2

Whitewater rafting experience

Whitewater rafting is on your itinerary today and this adrenaline-fueled adventure makes a great mix of nature and excitement. Depending on the season you will be taken to either Savegre River or “El Chorro”. Your professional guide will instruct you on how to do the rafting and then take you safely through the river during the day. The evening is open for discovery, and it could be a great opportunity to discover one of the many great restaurants in the area.
Day 3

Surf´s up

Costa Rica is a world-famous surf destination, and today you will go with a professional instructor to learn the basics of surfing. Hopefully during the day, you will be able to stand up and surf your own very first wave! This is an amazing feeling and also works as a sort of meditation for many people. The water is warm throughout the year and it’s a great exercise! 
Day 4

Mangrove Boat Tour

Explore the Isla Damas mangrove ecosystem on a comfortable boat gliding along the water while birdwatching and admiring the verdant flora of the area. One of Costa Rica's most important natural habitats. Your experienced guide will spot flora and fauna along the way, pointing out species such as reptiles, anteaters, and monkeys.
Day 5

Transport to Drake bay & Corcovado national park

After breakfast your private transportation will take you along the Pacific coastline to harbor town Sierpe. In Sierpe you will be met by a boat that will take you to your natural lodge, the great Drake Bay Wilderness Resort. The lodge is close by the Corcovado National Park, which is the most diverse national park of Costa Rica. Days of amazing adventures await you!
Day 6

Canopy & zipline adventure

Today you will get your adrenaline pumping again as your guide will take you to the canopy tour, or the zip-line tour as it may also be referred to. You will get a view of nature from up in the canopy and you will fly through the treetops on the steel wires. You will be safely attached to the lines in climbing gear and your guide will instruct you how to go safely and how to stop.
Day 7

Tour to Caño Island

The marine life of Costa Rica is astonishing as well, and today you will get to discover that by joining your included tour to Caño Island. The tour is a combo of hiking trails in the immense nature where you will hike through ancient indigenous burial grounds up to the island’s top. The snorkeling included is going to give you the chance to see huge amounts of colorful fish and marine life.
Day 8

Corcovado National Park Hike

If you're a nature lover, then a visit to Corcovado National Park is a must-do. This nationally protected area is one of Costa Rica's premier wildlife viewing destinations and is home to an incredible array of wildlife. With over 140 species of mammals, 116 reptiles, and over 400 kinds of birds, Corcovado National Park is a true jungle paradise. will lead you on a hike through the jungle, showing you all the amazing wildlife that the park has to offer. Endangered species like the Bairds' Tapir, Scarlet Macaw, Three-toed Sloth, White-lipped Peccary, Great Harpy Eagle, and even Jaguars are all known to reside in Corcovado. You may also see White-Faced Capuchin, Howler, Spider, and Squirrel monkeys on this incredible hike.
Day 9

Fly back to San Jose & then home ?

After your tasty breakfast it’s time to start preparing for your return. The resort's staff will take you to the domestic airport where your San Jose-bound flight awaits you.
