If you are visiting the country for its amazing nature, wildlife, volcanoes, beaches, or fishing, there is always time and space for some Golf in Costa Rica!
We will help you book your tee times and help you rent your equipment unless you bring it from your home yourself. Costa Rica has some really great courses on the Pacific Coast and in the capital of the country, San Jose.
If you are staying in Guanacaste in the northwest Pacific, you will have two great courses to choose from. Hacienda Pinilla Golf Club is located about 30 minutes south of Tamarindo and Reserva Conchal Golf Course is located just outside Brasilito is 10 minutes south of Flamingo.
The Hacienda Pinilla golf course has the finest settings in the tropical forest along the shores of the Pacific Ocean with an amazing blue backdrop from the ocean. It has earned its designation as Audubon Cooperative System for its preservation of ecological balance. This is a par 72 course that plays up to 7,200 yards. This is an exceptional place to enjoy a round of Golf in Costa Rica with friends and family.
The Reserva Conchal golf course is a 71-par championship course designed by legendary Robert Trent Jones II. This is a challenging and sporty course with unique elevations, multiple lakes, and impressive fairways. Just as Hacienda Pinilla, this course runs through a tropical forest and has the Pacific Ocean as its backdrop. Some of the characteristics of the course are unique elevations from tee to green, fairways protected by sand traps and lakes, long and uphill par fours and 63 traps placed strategically throughout the 7,021-yard course. This is a great fun course whether you are a beginner or a seasoned golfer.
If you are spending a few days in Costa Rica’s capital San Jose, we widely recommend the Valle del Sol Golf Course in Santa Ana. That’s where all the Costa Rican pros and celebrities go to tee off.
