Day 1
Welcome to Costa Rica!
When you arrive at Juan Santa Maria Airport in San Jose your private transportation will be awaiting you to take you to the Intercontinental Hotel in Escazu. Depending on your arrival time there are plenty of activities available. You can enjoy spa treatments at the hotel, swim in the amazing outdoor pool, or have a relaxing time in the Jacuzzi. If you want to do some shopping or have an outside hotel meal, one of Central America’s biggest shopping malls is located across the street from the hotel.
Day 2
Private transportation to Volcano Arenal through amazing scenery
Your private transportation will pick you up outside the reception and take you through amazing scenery until you arrive in cozy mountain town La Fortuna and the majestic volcano Arenal. Tabacon Hotel is located in a secluded area outside of town and after check-in you can enjoy some romantic time in the hotel’s hot springs or relax by the pool area. The hotel offers great options for dinner so it’s all up to you how to spend your evening.
Day 3
Relax with some of the worlds best Hot Springs
This is a perfect day to spend at the hotel’s natural mineral hot springs. You will have plenty of time to try all different natural pools and you can enjoy a tropical drink in the relaxing, hotel guest-only, Shangri-la area. This could also be a nice evening to get a taxi to La Fortuna and enjoy one of the many great restaurants in the area.
Day 4
Transfer to Casa Chameleon on the Pacific Coast
Today you will be picked up by your private transportation that will take you through a different kind of nature before you arrive at luxurious Casa Chameleon. The hotel has stunning views of the ocean and you will have the afternoon to visit one of the beaches close by or just enjoy the great pool area. Make sure you don’t miss the amazing and colorful sunset on the horizon!
Day 5
Sunset catamaran cruise
After you have enjoyed your morning at the hotel or the beach you will be picked up for a great activity and experience as you are about to embark on a sunset catamaran cruise. During the afternoon you will be sailing the Pacific Ocean while enjoying drinks from the open bar. There will be a stop close to a beach where you can snorkel, go kayaking, or swimming. You will sail back with the sunset as an amazing backdrop.
Day 6
Relax or choose a shorter excursion
This day is without any planned activities so you can choose to enjoy the hotel’s facilities, the beach or let us know if you want to go on a tour and we’ll make that happen. If you feel like making a shorter excursion you can get a taxi and go to beautiful little beach town Flamingo and have a delicious lunch at beach restaurant Coco Loco right on the white sand beach.
Day 7
To San Jose for one last day
When you have enjoyed your tasteful breakfast and checked-out your private transportation will pick you up and take you back to San Jose and Hotel Intercontinental. When you are back in San Jose you have the rest of the day to visit the city center, enjoy a meal in the area of Escazu or Santa Ana or just enjoy the great hotel’s amenities.
Day 8
Good bye and hope to see you again
Today is the final day of your romantic vacation. You can spend your day at the hotel before your private transportation picks you up and takes you to the airport. This is goodbye for this time but we hope to see you back in Costa Rica shortly. You are always welcome back!
