Tours:
The star of the tours is the guided Riverboat tour of the rivers of Tortugueros National Park. During this boat trip your guide takes you deep inside the canals so you get to see the rainforest and all the animals that live there. You can see three different species of monkeys, crocodiles, caimans, turtles, iguanas, and all the amazing birds that live around the rivers.
Your guide also takes you on a walk/hike in the Rainforest so that you get to see inside the magnificent rainforest and now you can see even more animals, and if you're lucky, you get a close encounter with cute sloths.
You also get to go and visit Tortugueros Village and the Caribbean beach. Here you get to see how the locals live in the small village of Tortuguero on this small island in the rainforest. Of course you get to visit the Caribbean beach next to the village, and if it is turtle nesting season you get the chance to see the big turtles come up on land and lay their eggs.
